About the lesson

About Ruby-Mai

I am a Trinity College graduate with a BA in French and Italian. I am a bit of a language nerd, and I love linguistics! In my tutoring, I see the benefit of applying linguistic theories into my practice to better my student success rates. I wrote my thesis on Language Learning Anxiety, as it is a huge area of interest to me. I enjoy working with students who suffer anxiety during their language learning, and I have the skills and knowledge to help you to improve.
My teaching motto is "learning the smart way, not the hard way"! This is always reflected in our sessions as you will learn skills to outsmart the exams and truly fill those gaps in your knowledge. This makes learning a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
