About Lindsey
I'm Lindsey, and I'm 22 years-old! I have recently graduated from University College London with a first-class degree in Arts and Sciences, an interdisciplinary degree which allowed me to study the things I'm passionate about. This included environmental studies, anthropology, and music! I'm continuing my studies in September, with a masters in Medical Anthropology at UCL.
I achieved A*s in GCSE English Language and Literature, and A-Level English Literature, and have been tutoring English Language/Literature online since November 2020. I have taught around 100 lessons to GCSE students, and have been DBS-checked.
Outside of university I enjoy making pottery, music and crocheted-goods. I am also a staff writer for an online magazine, and volunteer with organisations that support disability justice and environmentalism.

I'm here to help you love your subject and ace exam technique, so that you can get the grades you deserve!
For GCSE students, I use practice exam papers or questions and work through individual parts until my student is comfortable with them. I use a variety of texts (both fiction and non-fiction) from a variety of genres to help build the student's interest.
My sessions are about my student, not me, so I make sure they contribute all the great ideas, helping them to really build confidence in their abilities! Each session is usually around 1 hour long, but I can be flexible.
