About Jennifer
First and foremost, this is not just a job for me. It is a passion, and as your tutor, I will develop a sacred relationship with you, get to know you, play on your strengths, and turn your weaknesses into strengths. You will never wonder if I am in your corner, as that is never something that should be questioned. I am here for you!! I conduct myself with professionalism, but am also extremely goofy. Learning can and should be fun, and engaging, and sometimes being weird (and owning it) is going to happen!

I first and foremost create environments that are safe, trusting and built on relationships. I try to connect with each and every student and also encourage them to connect with each other.
In the classroom, I am very structured and routine, and also try to set that up as a tutor as well. Structure and routine help create comfort as there is never a time to say..."What are we doing now?" Downtime (brain breaks) are important and sometimes are unplanned, but I, as an educator, should be prepared and never not know what is coming next.
