About Wendy
I love what I do and love working with the students. I truly believe each child can do anything they set their mind to do. I am very honest with my students that if I do not know something, I tell them but will always find the answer for them. I believe that a teacher should teach to the student’s abilities and not to the curriculum’s demands. I build up to those demands. I throughly believe in teaching a student to work toward independence in their work and not total dependence.

I am a current Intervention Specialist working in Columbus, Ohio. I love seeing children learn a skill that they have been struggling with. I love their excitement when they finally cross a hurdle. I truly believe in the power of YET. My current students love this mindset, they have overcome so much by just believing that they will be able to overcome something.
