About Sergi

My name is Sergi, I am a native of Spain (more specifically, the Canary Islands) and I am 27 years old. I have a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, preparation that is complemented by courses and teacher training. I have almost two years of experience teaching students of different nationalities (Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, German, Italian, various African countries...) and of different levels and ages (from 5 to 60 years old). ), and some other grammar and language research published in specialized journals. In addition, I have been a writer and editor for a few years in a Spanish journalistic medium, so I can also give you advice to improve writing, style, and help you correct any text.

Personally, I have all life learning different subjects and languages; My training in Spanish language and literature is complemented by high skills in English and an initial level in Chinese, which I hope to continue improving step by step. I am attentive, empathetic, very responsible and hard-working; my university grade point average was 9.6/10 throughout my degree and I received numerous scholarships for academic excellence. However, day by day I continue to learn endless things and, therefore, I hope to be able to help you in your learning process. I'm sure that between the two of us we'll get you to see fast and very noticeable results.

The classes will be adapted to your goals and needs: we can follow a communicative, more conversational approach, or focus on specific tasks that help you progress on more specific issues.

About the lesson

My name is Sergi, I'm a native Spanish speaker and I'm 27 years old. Finally, at the university I stood out for my good grades (I had an average grade of 9.6 in the entire degree) and I have extensive knowledge of syntax, semantics, phonetics, morphology, literature and history of the Spanish language, so that I can give you precise explanations and answer any questions you may have. I can also provide you with very useful materials if you are in a letters or arts degree, or if you are preparing for the EBAU/EVAU, or even attending high school or ESO.

• CLASS METHODOLOGY:
My classes will completely adapt to your needs as a student: improve the level of Spanish for natives or foreigners, support classes or reinforcement of the Spanish language, pass the Highschool/University Entrance Exam with good marks, proofreading and revision of style and writing, more advanced classes for university students... Whatever your case, I will make you a study plan according to your goals and your time, so that you can learn at your own pace and get the most out of the classes, wherever you are.
