About Angus
I've been playing the piano since the age of 6, having lessons until I left to study Jazz piano and composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I'm currently studying at Guildhall School. My experience with a series of different piano and double bass tutors has taught me important lessons about what makes a great teacher. The teachers I enjoyed being tutored by always inspired me to achieve the next level, and never made it feel like I was practising for nothing. I have achieved grade 8 piano performance and grade 5 music theory.

I provide expert and effective guidance for beginners, intermediate and advanced level students ages 5 and up. My teaching approach is focused on finding the best way of inspiring the student to want to learn more, as opposed to giving out lots of irrelevant tasks. Whether you're interested in achieving music theory grades or just learning more about the inner workings of the music you love. I will provide a series of structured lessons to ensure you achieve your goal.
