About Katelynn
I am a graduate from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Studies. I am passionate about literature and writing and would like to share that passion with my students. I strive to share my knowledge and tailor my content towards student's needs. I believe that everyone can learn and that you are never to old to learn something new.

My lessons will be set up almost like a book club or collegiate level literature course: We will read a piece of literature, and upon having read said literature, we will discuss it together. We will then analyze the text and parse out its meaning. Writing can also be included in the coursework, as learning to write well goes hand-in-hand with understanding literature.
As a native speaker of the English language with a diverse background and knowledge of both American and English literature, I can provide a better understanding of why reading and writing matter. My lessons are tailored towards high school or higher level learning; however, all are welcome.
