About Rachael
I am currently studying at University on a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education. I have recently completed an BA Hons Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies with Psychology. My goal is to make a difference to children and their families to ensure they are given the support they need, along that they feel and know they are not alone.
Alongside University, I am going to be working within a variety of education settings from early years up to college. I have always liked working with children and young people as I know that each student has their own way of learning, I can adjust to suit their style but also adapt to what the student needs.
I have trained in SEN management, and have experience of working with students that are classed as SEN. I adapt my teaching styles to ensure they get the best tutoring they can but also work at their own pace.
I would love to return to face to face tutoring as I feel that I can deliver lessons easier however I have adapted to working online in the tutorful classroom. Before I take on a new student, I like to have some time where the student can get to know me and I can get to know them, along with their learning style because I adapt every lesson to what they need. I am eager to help with any homework they have through planning it out with them, reading through it with them and giving my feedback for any improvements they might be able to make.
I am very friendly and just want to help out where I can. Please consider me as a tutor.

My lessons are created around the student and their needs, as each student is an individual that requires different teaching methods or support to progress with their learning. I will adapt my lessons depending on the level of subjects, the need of the students and how they work as an individual.
I teach primary 8-11, however I do also teach KS3 for Year 7-9.
