About Braden Matthew

Currently doing research within the Religious Studies Department at McMaster University; have an undergraduate degree in Theology and Philosophy, with experience in private tutoring, marking, and worked as a Teacher's Assistant, teaching a class of 42 students, this past semester.

About the lesson

I begin by getting to know what my student's struggle with and trying to improve those areas, whether they be grammar, organization, or understanding difficult concepts and theories. A typical class is oriented around a reading/text/assignment that a student is working with, and we will spend time either writing, reading, or discussing the content together. Sometimes students just need to verbally process ideas in order to come to their own conclusions, whereas others need to have things explained. Navigating the needs of the student will always be a primary concern when tutoring.
