About Blake
I love helping students see the riches of the original language of the New Testament! Reading the Bible in the original languages brings it to life! I have been studying koine (biblical) Greek for years. I have a B.A. in Biblical Studies with a minor in Ancient and Classical languages, and have also completed my advanced study of biblical Greek at the graduate level. I am currently a Teaching Assistant for Greek at Westminster Theological Seminary. have studied Greek myself with a variety of methods and grammar books, gaining perspective on the best teaching/learning styles.

My teaching methodology is student-centered. Greek is a difficult subject for many high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, and a tutor can be one of the most helpful resources for grasping the material. I can tutor students who are presently taking courses in biblical Greek, I can assist self-motivated learners who are seeking to learn the language on their own but need some guidance, or I can work with you step-by-step and teach you the language in a one-on-one setting. I can work with whatever curriculum a student is presently using, or I can recommend and provide a variety of curriculums depending on a student's learning style and preferences.
Whether you need a one-time sit down to go over a difficult area or even to help study for a test (a popular option), or want someone to guide you every step of the way, I would love to be of service.
