I am healthy, active and enjoy thinking, questioning, and being curious.
Chatting, discussing, and resolving complex issues: thinking, reasoning and writing.
I love teaching/tutoring/mentoring/lecturing because of that wonderful “Ohh!!” Moment.
It’s when a student realizes/discovers/understands/solves something they have never been able to before. That makes a tutor/teacher exultant. Makes it all worth it.
I am tenacious and can’t move into the next topic till my student has the “Ohh!!!” moment. They will NEVER forget that thing they have learned.

My lessons are 50 mins, bespoke to each individual student, and stretching.
They stimulate, inspire, and are fun.
I get to know each well to work out what degree of pushing and holding them will work the best for their results to improve.
Tutoring/teaching is relational, and I enjoy that and am committed to it.
My teaching style is as a “captain coach,” on the field with them playing the game alongside them, and challenging them to stretch themselves.
My results and references speak for themselves.
One of my students came top in the state in his worst subject that he disliked immensely, through my teaching.
I focus on teaching HOW to learn, not just WHAT to learn, which is a skill they can apply to learning anything, thus broadening their knowledge horizon—not just by knowing data, but by knowing HOW to research, write and read. Students enjoy my teaching immensely, and I take some of them all the way from kindy to university/college/postgraduate and doctoral work.
