About Taylor
Hi there! My name is Taylor. I am an enthusiastic graduate from the University of Queensland with a passion to teach English to people in an accessible and interesting way.
I have aimed to teach English since I was young, and now that I am qualitied and searching for a full-time position, I have spare time to teach students who I wouldn't normally get to meet which is very exciting.
No matter the level you are currently at, I would love to speak to you about your English learning goals and how we can work together to achieve them.

I follow a gradual release method, that is first, I demonstrate then we work together and then you practice on your own. This allows students to become familiar with the concept before trying to use it alone. Afterwards we always reflect on what went well and how we can improve in the future. I aim to be a patient, helpful, and encouraging tutor that students feel comfortable sharing their work and questions with so, we can take learning at whatever pace works best for each student.
Lessons typically go from 20 mins to an hour or more depending on the project students are working on, how much time they have, or what they want to practice.
I am a qualified English teacher, meaning that I have been trained to teach in high school however, I have tutored both primary and secondary school students. I am also very open to teaching adults as I have some experience assisting my classmates at university. This means that my lessons are for people of all ages.
