About Daisy
I am an ambitious and academically astute graduate of the most prestigious English Literature and Creative Writing course in Europe (each year over 2000 applicants apply for one of the 25 spaces on this course at Warwick University). I graduated with a very high 2:1 overall with a 1st in my final year. At secondary school I received 3A*s in my A-levels (English Literature, Psychology, Film Studies) and an A in AS-level Drama and Theatre Studies. I also received As and A*s in my English, Maths and Science GCSEs.
I have been tutoring since late September, primarily focusing on GCSE level English, but with my history of academic excellence I am proficient at teaching any level. Additionally, I have sold several University-level essays to be used as examples of outstanding writing to websites such as Gradesaver.com and other online study guides. From these experiences I have learnt how to explain complex ideas in a manner that can be easily understood.

As a younger tutor (22 years old) I am able to connect with pupils and understand their learning requirements to foster them in a way that allows them to truly grasp key concepts of writing and analysis. I have only just recently graduated, and having been through the process of A-levels (and achieving 3A*s in my subjects) and university so recently I am an expert on the best ways to work within the requirements of modern exam boards. I am friendly, sociable, and always try to teach in a way that makes the material engaging and interesting to learn.
