As a graduate of Wheaton Graduate School, I teach reading and phonics to elementary aged students. I am a certified reading specialist trained in dyslexia with 8 years of teaching experience.

About Nicole
I have spent 4 years teaching in both Zambia and the Dominican Republic. I enjoy reading, spending time with family and my dogs, and doing any outdoor activity. Reading was a struggle for me growing up, so I love instilling a joy for reading and learning in my students.

I use an Orton Gillingham, multisensory approach to teaching reading and phonics. I build students' vocabulary and background knowledge to help build better comprehension skills. I use students' interests and strengths to help build confidence and a joy for reading.
