About Brooke
Hi! My name is Brooke and I am thrilled at the opportunity to be your history tutor! I love finding the weird aspects of history and implementing them into my own classes. My goal as your tutor is to help you succeed academically and help to inspire the confidence in knowing that you're able to achieve excellence!

I work with students to help them prepare for the upcoming school year, content remediation, and overall academic support! As a tutor I work with students to help refine the skills necessary to be successful in a social studies classroom. My priority is creating a comfortable environment for students to build those skills and work toward their academic goals. My lesson plans typically look like a review of either what we did last time or what they have been working on in their traditional classroom, followed by content and formative assessment to check for understanding. I work with students in grades 6-12 in all history-related subjects, but my niche is United States History, United States Government, and Modern World History.
