About Paul
I am a Virginia Tech graduate, class of 2019, with a double major in Professional and Technical Writing, plus Literature and Language. I was on the Dean's List at the time I graduated. When I was in high school, I also excelled in my English classes, and I was selected to tutor other students. In college, I joined a volunteer tutoring organization and helped other students by proofreading their essays and by giving them advice on what to write. I also tutored members of my literature classes. Even after I graduated, I continued to volunteer to tutor students with English-related classes.

I believe in teaching students one lesson at a time, so that they do not get overwhelmed with new information. I prepare my lessons in advance, often using PowerPoints to highlight the most important details. I ask other people for feedback before the lesson is finalized. I also like to provide quizzes at the end of my lessons to ensure that the lesson was successful. My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn my subject, regardless of skill level, grade level, or experience level.
