About Lucas
I decided to save money by reading Freakeconomics in high school. Since then, I have become enthusiastic about the impact that economics can have on governments, businesses, consumers and other agents of society. My undergraduate monograph was based on econometrics, macroeconomics, finance, and risk management, it was published in the Revista Brasileira de Economia at FGV. My master's thesis was on applied microeconomics and econometrics, published in the journal Estudos Econômicos at USP. Between the master's and doctoral studies, I worked as a researcher/consultant at the IDados Institute, where I researched and provided consultancy in Education, Labor and Public Financing Microeconomics. Today I am a PhD student at the University of Nottingham, where I intend to do my thesis in Decision Theory (microeconomics) and Behavioral Economics (microeconomics).
