About JOELTON
Each student has their needs and the method used depends on their learning objective. In general, I use communicative methods throughout the teaching process, always privileging speech, as they consider real communication situations. From this, the questions of language structure can be easily absorbed by the student. I also set up classes to become playful, for example, with the use of Music, Movies and Series so that in this way learning becomes not only meaningful but pleasurable.

Hi! I have been a teacher for over 7 years. In addition to having a degree in English Literature (UFPB 2019) I lived with Native Americans for two years communicating in English and teaching Portuguese. After this period, I worked for another 2 years in an Indian multinational where I used English. as the official language in the Workplace. I also have experience as a teacher in public schools in the city of João Pessoa. I work with private English classes, in-person and online, English literature and preparation for ENEM (English language). Each student is treated individually before starting the classes, the student takes a placement test answering some simple and basic questions, the purpose is to know what the wishes, goals and tastes the student has so that the classes can be adapted and the learning be effective. I use more communicative approaches to better understand the language in a practical context and speak correctly. In addition to the structural aspects of the language, I also take into account the importance of developing the four skills; speaking, listening, writing and reading and working with playful classes where the student can have a lighter and more fun learning. I treat each student as unique and always try to show the best ways and strategies to learn the English language.
