About Lucy
Hola! My name is Lucy, a recently graduated student with a passion for languages and learning about other cultures. In my secondary school years and throughout sixth-form I studied Spanish and fell in love with the culture and people. After frequent visits to Spain I decided to continue my study of the language in a languages and culture BA in 2023. I wish to help those wishing to improve their Spanish speaking skills and those taking Spanish exams to really get the upper hand to reach their maximum potential in terms of their fluency. My hope is to establish confidence in my students through interactive sessions together.
For younger students, I would really love to explore Spanish culture with you! There is so much that can be learnt through the use of real life traditions and customs, that will make starting to learn the language even more exciting!

Classes are tailored to skill level and the learner's age, with each student receiving a unique approach to create an engaging and fun lesson through the application of learning and age development training. There is a choice between a casual and formal lesson structure - casual includes activities that 'don't feel like learning' and formal lessons are more school class like in delivery.
Lesson lengths can vary with the choice of 30 minutes or hour long lessons, which can be booked back to back.
I have tutored throughout the pandemic and as part of GCSE revision programmes in a top ranking private boarding school. My lessons are for those looking to boost their grades for GCSEs and A levels and for younger students or their parents wishing to enhance their Spanish skills at an earlier age in a friendly environment.
