About Symara

Named Dance Magazine's Top 25 to watch in 2025 and a Bessie award-winning choreographer, I am extremely versed in teaching, setting, and training dance. I have trained in a variety of modern dance styles (Graham, Cunningham, etc.) Danced in Urban Bush Women professionally. I can help your student experience dance in an expansive way.

About the lesson

My lessons are expansive and challenge your perspective on dance. We will learn fundamentals and also move towards integrating dance in a way where we feel ownership over our bodies and a deep understanding of the movement we are engaging in. It’s important to honor the basics and create space for your improvisational exploratory nature. This lesson will be all-encompassing and you’ll leave a more well-rounded dancer.
