About Enrica Paola

My name is Enrica, I am 20 years old and I am an ex-student of the Liceo Linguistico. The languages I've studied are Italian, English, French and German, and I'm available for tutoring and helping with homework.
I've already had experiences as an educator: I worked twice in kindergartens, both in Italy and in Germany (I lived there for a few months), and for a short time I taught French in an elementary school.

I want to spread my knowledge because I believe this can help others both in their school career and in their future career.

I'd like to maintain an informal relationship with students, so that they are comfortable with me and don't consider me as a superior figure. I am convinced that this method stimulates the desire to learn, facilitates learning and reduces the stress caused by studying.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring and homework help to students from elementary to high school.
During the first lesson I try to understand the level of the student and then focus on the most difficult topics for him and on the knowledge of the subject in general.
I usually prepare and correct even small verification exercises to check the effective acquisition of the topic by the student.

The typical lesson:
- Duration 50 min
- The first 5-10 minutes of "Ice Breaking" (to get to know each other, in the first lesson only)
- The first 5-10 minutes to review the topic of the previous lesson / checking homework exercises (regular lessons)
- 35-40 minutes of lessons
- 5-10 minutes of lesson feedback, solving doubts, assigning homework when needed

Lorenzo è sempre molto attento ed anche se il francese per lui è una materia nuova si dimostra sempre curioso e volenteroso. Sono molto contenta del suo progresso, visibile già dopo poche ore di lezione :)
