About Itamar
I believe music is for everyone who is interested in it! And learning depends only on the student's dedication! I don't believe in a natural gift or that it is necessary to be born with a "special ability" to be able to play an instrument. I think everyone can do it.
When I was little, I had to do a surgery that greatly limited my motor coordination , and I thought I would never be able to play any instrument, until I dedicated myself to the study of the guitar and managed to reach a high level, graduating as a technician in popular music, giving several lessons in guitar, electric guitar and ukelele and playing in different groups! Always focusing on exercises and my self-improvement!

I have my own method of giving my classes, based on my experiences both as a teacher and student! I base myself on the premise that music can be learned by everyone, enough dedication, study and a good guide. I see the teacher's role as a guide for the student, but it is he (student) who will trace the main path. So, in my classes, I always spend some/some exercises for the student to study during the week, always having something new to study. My classes are divided into 3 large parts that I think are fundamental for learning any instrument. 1) Music theory; 2) Technique exercises and 3) Repertoire. In my classes I always go through these 3 parts, making them relate to each other, increasingly sophisticating the level.
The first class is FREE, so we can get to know each other, I can introduce myself better and explain my method and philosophy of teaching!
