About Mehreen
I’m a legal professional passionate about helping students find confidence in their studies. I’ve been lucky to learn from teachers who believed in me, and I want to offer that same support to others.
My lessons focus on clarity, curiosity, and building real understanding — not just memorising cases. I create a relaxed, encouraging space where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and grow at their own pace.
I teach GCSE and A-Level Law, helping students strengthen their essay skills, prepare for exams, and see how the law connects to the world around them.

My Approach to Tutoring
I focus on making law accessible, engaging, and practical. My lessons are built around clear structure and real-world understanding, helping students move beyond memorising case names to actually thinking like lawyers.
Teaching Methodology
I use a mix of explanation, discussion, and application:
I start by breaking down key concepts into plain English.
We then work through examples and exam-style questions together.
I finish each lesson with short recap tasks or “mini-tests” to reinforce learning.
I also tailor lessons to each student’s exam board and learning style, ensuring they build both confidence and exam technique.
Lesson Length
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I offer 90-minute sessions for students who prefer more in-depth work or need focused revision before exams.
Qualifications and Experience
I’m a law graduate and paralegal, with over 1.5 years of tutoring experience supporting GCSE English students. I also taught on the Pathways to Law summer programme at Queens’ College, Cambridge, helping aspiring students explore legal studies in an academic setting. This blend of academic and practical experience shapes my tutoring style — grounded, encouraging, and focused on real progress.
