The method I use in my classes is: The Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) Method by Jeremy Harmer.
Engage: I like to engage students using things like: Dramatic stories or anecdotes, music, discussions, exciting pictures or video clips, game or dynamics related to the topic.
Study: This is the equivalent of the stages of " practice "and" production "of an APP lesson. Grammar and Topic Structure
Activate: This is the equivalent of the "production" stage of an APP lesson. The student must create Role-plays, Dialogue creation, Email exchanges, Designing an advert, Debates,
