About Helen
I believe students learn best when they feel respected, supported, and confident in their teacher. I build trust by being well-prepared, communicating clearly, and treating every student with patience and respect. My background in customer service and virtual assistance has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, while my degree in Secondary Education has given me the foundation to teach effectively. I also create a positive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that's an important part of learning. My goal is to help students gain confidence in their English skills while knowing they have a teacher who is professional, supportive, and committed to their success.

I believe every student is different and has a unique way of learning. Throughout my career, I've worked with different accounts and learned how to adapt my communication style to meet different people's needs. I also remember one of my previous students who struggled with understanding English. To help her, I used visual aids and role-playing activities to make the lessons more engaging and easier to understand. Over time, she expanded her vocabulary and improved her reading comprehension. That experience reinforced my belief that with patience, the right teaching approach, and encouragement, every student can succeed.
