About Pui-yan

Bachelor of Music (Hons) from Hong Kong Baptist University. Master of Music Performance from Northern Illinois University. Taught one-on-one piano lessons and prepared ABRSM graded exams. Taught class piano in a university setting. Experienced with teaching beginners and early intermediate levels.

About the lesson

Individualized lesson plan at your own pace. Cover techniques, musical expressions, aural, and theory. Teach students of all ages and backgrounds. Teach both classical piano and piano accompaniments useful for church service or pop songs. Teach songs of different styles and genres.

Deadly! Pui-yan was awesome with my son. She was able to teach him how to count keys and read simple music in his first lesson. By the end of the hour my child was playing a simple melody and getting more comfortable with the piano. I would highly recommend Pui-yan.

Crystal's son is very smart. We are able count, sing, and play a melody using both hands in our first lesson. I hope he will continue to grow musically as he pays effort to learn and practice the piano.
