About Perihan

Perihan Abdelghaly is Sustainable Finance and Anticorruption Lead with over 15 years of experience in Multilaterals and Financial Sector in Egypt and the Middle East. Abdelghaly executed several projects in the fields of sustainable finance, sustainability reporting and strategy, sustainability policies and procedures, sustainability initiatives, social return on investment, SMEs capacity building for integrity and compliance among others. Perihan took part in a global project on building SMEs capacity and governance as part of collective action against corruption by the United Nations Development Programme, the Egyptian Junior Business Association and funded under Siemens Integrity Initiative. During the initiative, Perihan supported more than 500 SMEs in building their capacity in ethics and compliance and improving their integrity standards. She also managed a big network of thousands of SMEs to facilitate exchanging business opportunities with large corporates.
► Perihan contributed in building and managing the first and only Sustainable Finance Platform in Egypt – MOSTADAM ((concealed information) ). The Platform is a partnership between a leading financial institution in Egypt and the United Nations Development Programme in Egypt. Also, she reported on the bank’s practices through adopting international frameworks such as UN Global Compact, Equator Principles and UNEPFI,
► She has articles published on different topics such as Sustainable Finance, Education and Equality, Governance, Environmental Sustainability and others in different channels such as the United Nations Annual Publication and Corporate Citizenship Magazine. She advocates throughout all her missions towards regional and global partnerships to reinforce and strengthen sustainability practice and promote integrity in Egypt and the MENA Region. Perihan is currently an Independent Consultant and International policy and Anti-Corruption Assessment Expert with the UNDP.
►On another prospect, she participated with the UNDP regional team in re-building and auditing the execution of Kuwait and Iraq national strategies for Anti-corruption. She independently designed projects to enhance integrity and enforce accountability in both countries public institutions,

About the lesson

The first lesson is free. I mix different innovative teaching techniques to enable students not only accomplish their objective but to acquire skills for the future careers. I mentored masters students at the University of Manchester in England for two years to guide them throughout their thesis to planning for their careers.
