About Swasti
Hello! I am Swasti Gaur, a 20-year-old college student from India, currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Life Science from University of Delhi. I have completed my Intermediate education from St. Agnes' Loreto Day School. Since my school years I have had a keen interest in the English language which led me to participate in various elocutions, plays, debates, skits and speeches. I was elected the president of my school literary society. I also have an inclination towards writing poems and look forward to writing and publishing my own book one day. Teaching has always fascinated me not only because of the academic aspect but because of the learning, knowledge and values it entails. I look forward to building a community based on values, knowledge and grammatical wit!

I appeared for my board examination from ICSE (Indian Council for Secondary Education). I was one of the few students who scored a perfect hundred in the entire country. How did I do it? The answer is simple! I practiced speaking. I looked away from the plethora of rules of grammar, I started to think in the language itself and looked up for better synonyms of the words that were a part of my daily vocabulary. When teaching, I look forward to using the same methods that helped me navigate through the ''English waters''.
