About Maria
growing up i spent a lot of time with the members of my family who lived on the opposite of the border. Often times they would come to me for assistance with their English homework. Teaching them felt natural to me and i always knew language was something id like to make a part of my profession. After i graduated from high School i began tutoring kids from both Mexico and the United States.

Growing up in school we were required to take a foreign language class. Since i was already fluent in both english and Spanish taking a Spanish class was very simple for me to do, however the way it was taught i believe wasn't the nest way to learn. as a person who doesn't speak Spanish, or any language that is new to them is best learned in a way that would can be used in an every day conversation rather than learning individual words and phrases. My form of teaching id like to say is less text book and more interactive
