About Alyssa
I have always been passionate about languages. All of my free electives in high school and university have gone towards learning a new language- French, Spanish, Japanese, etc. They have always interested me, and I’ve always had a natural talent with them. Especially growing up bilingual, I have experienced firsthand the benefits of knowing more than one language, which is why I would love to be able to help someone to experience the same.

I spent a lot of my free time whilst living in Italy volunteering to help teach English to Italian kids my age or younger, meaning I have plenty of practice in teaching someone a language. I also have the benefit of Italian being my second language, meaning I know exactly how it feels to navigate an entirely new language and world. I have a lot of empathy for anyone trying to learn a new language, and I believe it’s one of the most beautiful skills you can have.
