About Julia
I am committed to building you up as a singer! I will discover what works best for you and tailor your lessons to your needs. I can help you with breath control, vocal placement, articulation, sight reading, tone quality, dynamics, musical expression, vocal agility, and much more. We can explore different genres (jazz, r&b, pop, classical, gospel) to play around with. This will be a learning experience but it will also be very fun. I am still learning about music myself as a music student at Michigan State University but whatever I don't know I will find out for you as soon as I can. I have your back and I am committed to helping you discover the different parts of your beautiful voice.

Learning how to sing is a wonderful gift. Anyone can sing but not everyone knows how to use the different parts of their voice to tell a story. Singing is about making people feel, putting your soul into the song, and using your whole body to convey the message. My job is to bring out the best in you musically and support you on your musical journey. I teach, I don't judge! Meaning that you are free to make as many mistakes as you need to until you master it. You are so talented! You have what it takes and I can't wait to work with you!
