I am a brewer with a master's certification in brewing sciences, whose undergraduate degree is in early childhood and elementary education. I have a passion for teaching others in small group settings and would like to do part-time work within the field of elementary education again.

My pedagogy is active listening and multistep discrepancy identification. The current curriculum is hard and children struggle, but that is an overarching theme. In order to define where the student needs help, a tutor must utilize the standards system of a state as well as collaborate with parents and teachers within the school they are at in order to enrich their curriculum and have them pull ahead of others.
