About Alexander
I have been teaching for 5 years, and have been playing for 14 years. I started at School of Rock at 6 years old playing guitar, and bass at 7. I learned the ins and outs of blues, rock, and eventually heavy metal. In high school I focused on jazz, funk, and soul. Now I also play many styles of Latin music as well as Latin percussion.

I teach a concept to develop your skill, along with a song that allows you to practice that concept. It's more fun that way because making music is always the goal. I also send summary videos of what we went over in the lesson, so you don't have to remember everything. I love music theory; it teaches the why behind how music works.
