About Mariano
"Music theory often feels like a barrier rather than a tool until you see how it applies to your favourite songs. I started my path by obsessing over how my idols used their hands to shape a sound before I ever touched a textbook.
Teaching 161 students has shown me that technique is just a physical conversation between you and your instrument. My BA in Commercial Music from BIMM Institute helped me codify the 4 years of experience I have in the studio.
We will spend time on ear training and electric technique so you gain real control over your sound. I make sure you understand barre chords and chord transitions without getting lost in unnecessary jargon.
You can count on me to guide you through rhythm guitar and the basics of tuning and maintenance. I keep things low pressure because music should be fun to make. I truly enjoy seeing people realise they can play something they previously found impossible."

"Most students find that feeling their way through a strumming pattern works better than staring at a static sheet of music. My 4 years of experience allow me to read your frustration and pivot the lesson style to keep you moving forward. We check your grade exam prep and rhythm guitar skills with a monthly recorded review of progress that captures how far you have come. You receive this video summary to ensure you have a clear reference for your practice time during the week.
This keeps your home studio work organised and helps you track your improvement over time. Just send me a message if you want to chat about your current goals."
