About Tommie

I am a qualified teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience. I performed on international stages and studied guitar at various conservatories in Europe. You can choose almost any style of music you want to play: pop, rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, flamenco and classical. Are you having trouble with guitar lessons in English? Don't worry: lessons can be given in German, Italian, French and Dutch.

About the lesson

The lessons are centred around two principles: 1. Learning the basics of guitar technique: reading notes/tabs, melody and harmony analysis, ear training 2. An open approach focused on learning to play your favourite songs. Beginners first learn the basics, such as tuning, posture, basic technique, reading tablature and playing basic chords. After ten lessons you will be able to play basic chords and one-note melodies. You can now play all your favourite music! If you are already a more advanced player, we will work on improving specific technical and musical skills such as soloing, improving your sound and learning genre-specific techniques.
