About Gemma
With 11 years of teaching experience and a Master of Music in Guitar Performance, I have committed my career to guiding students toward disciplined and inspired musicianship. My academic studies provided extensive training in solo repertoire, ensemble collaboration, advanced harmony, and performance psychology. These experiences shaped my belief that technical mastery must support artistic authenticity.
I believe effective instruction requires adaptability and patient guidance. Every student approaches music differently, and I take time to understand their goals, strengths, and challenges. By breaking advanced concepts into structured, manageable steps, I ensure consistent progress without overwhelming the learner. Encouragement and constructive feedback are central to my philosophy, fostering resilience and long-term confidence.

I incorporate guided improvisation sessions to build spontaneity while maintaining structural awareness. Performance preparation is treated as an essential skill. We simulate stage conditions, refine expressive nuance, and practice audience engagement techniques.
