About Quinn
I am a dedicated guitar teacher with 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar emphasis. My teaching focuses on songwriting, composition, and artist development. I love helping students write original music and develop their own personal style. Lessons are designed to guide learners through every step of creating songs, from initial ideas to finished tracks. I emphasize practical skills in chord progressions, melody, harmony, and arrangement. Recording techniques and basic production are also integrated to help students bring their music to life. I mentor aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians, providing guidance on performance and artistic expression. Creativity, confidence, and musical individuality are at the core of my teaching philosophy. Each session is personalized to match the student’s goals and musical taste. I encourage experimentation and self-expression while building strong technical skills. My approach combines structured guidance with fun, inspiring exercises. Join me to turn your ideas into songs and bring your musical vision to life.

My teaching approach for guitar focuses on helping students develop both skill and passion for music. I emphasize ear training so learners can recognize notes, chords, and melodies by sound. Music theory is integrated into lessons to give students a solid understanding of structure and harmony. I provide performance coaching to help students play confidently in front of others. Personalized instruction is a key part of my methodology, adapting lessons to each student’s goals and style. I use tools like DAWs, amp simulators, and metronome apps to make practice efficient and interactive. Lessons include classical, jazz, acoustic, electric, and bass techniques for well-rounded development. I focus on building creativity while reinforcing technique and timing. Real-world exercises, improvisation, and song interpretation keep learning exciting and practical. I support learners in excelling by giving clear guidance, feedback, and encouragement. Each session is structured yet flexible, allowing students to progress at their own pace. My goal is to help students play with confidence, understand music deeply, and enjoy every step of learning guitar.
