About Elin
My journey with guitar began with a strong passion for rhythm, melody, and storytelling through music. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance and have 7 years of teaching experience working with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and musical interests. Over time, I have developed a structured yet flexible teaching approach that supports both technical growth and creative expression.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and personalized learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust explanations, pace, and exercises according to individual needs. I focus on helping students understand not just how to play, but why techniques work, so they can become independent musicians over time. This builds long-term confidence and musical strength.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing different guitar styles, exploring new techniques, and studying both classical and modern compositions. These experiences help me bring variety, depth, and real-world musical insight into my lessons. One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is seeing students transform from hesitant beginners into expressive performers who can play with confidence, creativity, and emotional connection. That transformation keeps my teaching passion strong every day.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong technical ability while also developing musical expression and creativity. I teach chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, scales, rhythm training, tone control, improvisation basics, and musical phrasing. Each concept is explained in a simple step-by-step way so students can understand and apply it easily. The lessons are structured to support steady progress without confusion or pressure.
Students are guided based on their skill level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic chords, rhythm stability, finger placement, and simple strumming exercises. Intermediate learners develop smoother chord transitions, fingerstyle fluency, timing accuracy, and expressive playing. Advanced students work on improvisation, solo performance, advanced techniques, and musical interpretation. Students preparing for performances or exams receive structured practice plans with clear milestones. Continuous feedback ensures consistent improvement at every stage.
Learning guitar should feel enjoyable, creative, and motivating. My lessons provide a relaxed and supportive environment where students can explore music freely while building discipline and confidence. Over time, learners begin to develop their own musical identity and style. My goal is to help students not only play guitar well technically but also understand music deeply and express themselves naturally through sound in both practice and performance situations.
