About Arwen
I earned a PhD in Music Performance and have 11 years of experience teaching guitar. My love for music started at an early age through performing, composing, and exploring different musical genres. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that passion while helping students achieve their musical goals.
My approach combines technical instruction with encouragement and creativity. I adapt lessons to suit each student's learning style, interests, and objectives. Through structured exercises, practical demonstrations, and performance guidance, I help learners build strong skills and confidence. Supporting individual growth is an important part of my teaching philosophy.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, arranging music, and studying different guitar techniques. These experiences help me bring variety and inspiration into my lessons. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I get to watch students transform from beginners into confident musicians. Helping learners discover their musical potential continues to motivate me every day.

My guitar lessons focus on building strong technique while encouraging creativity and musical enjoyment. Students learn chords, rhythm patterns, strumming techniques, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, music theory, and performance skills through structured practice. I help learners understand both the technical and artistic sides of playing guitar. This creates balanced development and long-term musical confidence.
Lessons are designed around each student's experience level and musical interests. Beginners learn essential chords, rhythm control, and simple songs that build confidence. Intermediate players strengthen technique, expand their repertoire, and explore different musical styles. Advanced students focus on expression, improvisation, and performance preparation. Personalized feedback helps students continue progressing at a comfortable pace.
I believe learning guitar should be inspiring and enjoyable. My lessons encourage exploration, creativity, and consistent growth in a supportive environment. Students develop confidence as they see their skills improve through regular practice. My goal is to help learners become capable musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music.
