About Elnaz

I started playing guitar 14 years ago, and I've been teaching for like 8 years now. My students age from 7 to 60.
My passion is flamenco but I've been teaching other genres like basics of pop as well.

About the lesson

My teaching methods would vary in regards to each student talent but in general:

Children: start from "Guitar Method for Young Beginners" by Scott. will learn to play melody and rhythm.
Adults: start from "Enjoy Playing Guitar" by Cracknell
A) Flamenco: We start with techniques and "Solos Flamencos" by Juan Martin
B) Melody: No specific method needed. will start from easy melodies and progress to next levels.

I do not teach pick style.

Deadly! Elnaz provided me with valuable insights about how to approach Flamenco and pop guitar technique. After only one lesson I was able to get a better grasp of fundamental right hand picado techniques (used for playing melodies) required to create an authentic flamenco sound (as much as it is possible with a "classical" guitar that has higher action, deeper body and rosewood back and sides)

Deadly! Elnaz is a very good teacher. She paid attention to every little detail like correct sitting posture, hand position and finger movement. I will recommend her to other students looking for Flamenco Guitar Lessons.
