About Andy

I have been playing various forms of guitar-based music for 25 years. My practical experience includes concerts in UK, Europe and America. I have also taught friends and family on and off. I am now looking to pass on the benefit of my skills and knowledge, and "play it forward" to the next great talent. Could that be you?

About the lesson

I focus on both the player and the person. Everyone has talent, it's how that talent is nurtured and encouraged to come to the surface. I taught myself, but wish I had more resources to learn from back then. I want to make sure you can have the opportunity to learn and develop, the support and advice, but most importantly the fun and excitement of playing live music. I want to pass on the torch and watch that torch set the world alight.

Lincoln has shown a great attitude and emthusiasm for improving his ability on bass guitar. He is a keen but patient learner and is willing to get to grips with the theoretical aspect of his playing as well as the practical. A pleasure to teach.

Deadly! Andy is an excellent Guitar tutor who has helped me improve my playing immensely. He is very knowledgeable and patient, and although I wasn't a complete beginner when I started lessons with him, he has really helped me to improve.
He has always been very encouraging so that I now feel much more confident in my abilities. I am continuing to have lessons with Andy, and I can highly recommend him.
