About Heidi
I am a guitar tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Guitar Studies. My journey with guitar started with a deep interest in rhythm and sound. Over time, I developed a strong passion for teaching and guiding beginners.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and practical. I focus on building strong basics before moving to advanced techniques. I adjust lessons based on each student’s pace. I also encourage consistent practice for steady improvement.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring different music styles and improving my own skills. This helps me stay connected to real musical practice. My goal is to help students enjoy guitar and grow into confident musicians.

My guitar lessons begin with helping students build comfort with the instrument. I focus on correct posture, relaxed hand position, and clean sound production. Beginners start with simple chords and slow strumming patterns. I guide them step by step so they do not feel overwhelmed. Rhythm is introduced using counting and steady practice. Students learn how to switch chords smoothly over time. This builds early confidence and control.
As students progress, I introduce scales, finger exercises, and song practice. Each lesson includes structured practice to improve coordination. I help students understand timing and musical flow. Mistakes are corrected gently so learners stay motivated. Listening exercises are included to improve musical awareness. Practice is divided into small sections for better understanding. This helps students improve consistently without pressure.
Advanced learners focus on expression, solo techniques, and musical creativity. I guide them in bending, vibrato, and tone control. My goal is to help students play with both skill and personal expression.
