About Sam
My hometown in Texas didn’t have many musicians at all, so all of my peers would look to me to teach them how to play guitar. They would always come to me with a song they liked but didn’t know how to play, and I would have them playing it perfectly within an hour. I especially love working with people who are starting at square one and don’t have the first clue about how to play guitar, because it gives me the opportunity to show them that it’s not as hard as they think!

I like to focus on having fun when teaching beginner guitarists, as opposed to being too technical. I teach guitar playing the same way I was taught - by learning to play all of your favorite songs! I will show you that some of your favorite guitar parts are much easier to play than you may think! It just takes a certain mindset and good work ethic.
