About Jade
I have 13 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a PhD in Contemporary Guitar Studies. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence across a variety of playing styles.
My teaching style combines structure, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe every student benefits from lessons that balance skill development with creativity and personal expression. Each lesson is tailored to support individual strengths and goals.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing music, performing live, and studying modern guitar techniques. These experiences continue to influence my teaching and provide valuable real-world insight. I look forward to helping students grow into capable, confident, and expressive musicians.

My guitar lessons help students build practical skills while developing confidence and creativity. We focus on rhythm guitar, chord progression mastery, fingerstyle techniques, lead playing, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. Lessons are structured to support both technical growth and musical enjoyment.
I use song-based learning, fretboard exercises, ear training activities, technique drills, improvisation practice, and creative projects to keep lessons engaging. Students receive personalized instruction that helps them strengthen their abilities while exploring different musical styles and approaches.
Every lesson encourages steady progress, independent thinking, and musical expression. I provide supportive feedback and clear goals that help students remain motivated throughout their learning journey. My goal is to help learners become confident guitarists who enjoy creating and performing music.
