About Rhea
I hold a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance and have spent 11 years teaching students with a wide range of musical interests and goals. My journey with the guitar began through a fascination with melody, rhythm, and the ability of music to communicate emotions beyond words. Teaching allows me to share that passion every day.
I enjoy helping students explore different musical styles while building strong technical skills. Whether someone is interested in songwriting, accompaniment, solo performance, or personal enjoyment, I create lessons that match their goals and learning preferences. I believe patience and encouragement are essential parts of effective teaching.
Outside lessons, I continue performing, arranging music, and studying new approaches to guitar education. These experiences keep my teaching fresh and relevant. I love seeing students gain confidence, develop their unique musical voice, and discover how rewarding guitar playing can be.

My guitar lessons are built around helping students become confident and expressive musicians while developing strong technical foundations. We work on chord transitions, fingerstyle patterns, solo phrasing, vibrato, bending, rhythm accuracy, tone control, and performance skills through engaging and practical exercises. I use real musical examples and relatable references to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Every lesson balances structure with creativity.
Some learners thrive when they receive steady encouragement, while others enjoy deeper technical challenges and detailed skill development. I adapt my teaching style to support both approaches. Lessons include personalized feedback, focused practice strategies, and clear goals that help students progress confidently without feeling overwhelmed by complexity.

My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel motivated to explore their abilities and enjoy the process of improvement.
