About Lydia

I teach guitar with over 7 years of experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals. My lessons focus on coaching students for band auditions, live performance, and ensemble collaboration. We emphasise stage presence, rhythm, and creative interplay.

Students develop improvisation skills, timing, and expressive musicality in a group setting. Lessons include rehearsal techniques, arrangement practice, and performance preparation. My teaching style is supportive, motivating, and practical.

I guide learners in adapting to various musical styles and ensemble roles. Students practise communication, coordination, and soloing within a band. Lessons balance technical skill with expressive performance.

I help students gain confidence performing live and contributing creatively. Each session fosters musical excellence, teamwork, and stage readiness. Together, we prepare students to shine in ensemble settings.

About the lesson

I teach guitar with a focus on ear training and developing listening skills. Lessons cover song transcription, melodic dictation, and interval recognition. Students learn to hear melodies and harmonies accurately.

We practise exercises to strengthen pitch recognition, rhythm awareness, and musical memory. Students gain confidence picking out tunes by ear and improvising naturally. Lessons combine practical application and structured drills.

I guide campfire strummers and blues seekers to develop consistent aural skills. Feedback is constructive, supportive, and tailored to each student. Lessons focus on connecting listening with playing.

Students leave able to reproduce melodies and play intuitively by ear. Lessons balance technical skill, musicality, and creativity. Together, we make ear training fun, practical, and rewarding.
