About Wendy

I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music, specialising in Guitar Traditions. My academic training gave me a wide perspective on music from different cultures, while my practical journey has taken me deep into metal, shred, and progressive rock. I understand how important it is to blend solid technique with creative expression. That’s why I focus on helping students master blistering speed, flawless precision, and advanced shred techniques. Whether it’s alternate picking, sweep arpeggios, or tapping, I break everything down into manageable steps. I enjoy working with both young learners and adult students. Each lesson is tailored to the individual, combining technical drills with songs that inspire. I encourage consistency in practice but also foster exploration of personal style. My approach balances discipline with enthusiasm so students stay motivated. I use exercises that target accuracy while building endurance and control. About the lesson
