About Alisha
"Honestly, I view my role as a mapmaker for guitarists trying to find their way through the fretboard. Teaching 183 students has shown me that fingerpicking and electric technique require a very patient touch.
My background includes 11 years of coaching everyone from nervous beginners to advanced players. I focus on blues progressions, lead guitar, and essential tuning and maintenance. Ear training is a constant theme in my studio. I genuinely enjoy watching a student finally connect with their instrument."

"Clarity is the primary goal for the diagnostic skills check that happens before building the lesson plan. We spend our time identifying gaps in your knowledge so that every minute is used effectively. My MMus degree provides a rigorous framework for these sessions. Instruction remains steady and energetic throughout our 60 minute meetings.
