About Siddarth

Hello! I’m Sid, and I’ve been playing guitar for over 15 years, starting from my high school days. I'm a Software engineer by profession and recently completed my Master's from UBC. I have performed as the lead guitarist in both school and college bands. I have a deep passion for music and love teaching guitar to learners of all ages. I also sing along while playing, which makes lessons more fun and engaging.

About the lesson

My lessons are beginner friendly.

1. Introduction to the guitar – parts of the guitar, how to hold it, quick history
2. Open string exercises – understanding the names of the strings and basic picking
3. Understanding notes on the guitar – simple note recognition
4. Learning the C scale – do-re-mi-fa in a fun and easy way
5. Chord basics – introduction to first chords like C and E
6. Simple beginner song in C scale – applying what you learned
7. Regular tests, reviews, and feedback – to track progress
Continue improving at your own speed – lessons move
forward based on how comfortable you feel

This plan gives a strong foundation, and we will keep progressing step by step as you get more confident.
