About Grace
I am a guitar tutor with 9 years of experience, specializing in teaching visually impaired and differently-abled students. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on Guitar, and I am passionate about making music education accessible to everyone. My lessons combine tactile notation, audio cue training, and strong rhythmic development to support learners in building both skill and confidence. I design lessons that are adaptive, interactive, and engaging, ensuring that each student can explore the guitar at their own pace. Tactile methods help students feel the instrument, while audio cues strengthen listening skills and musical memory. I focus on rhythm and timing, creating a solid foundation for expressive playing. My approach celebrates each learner’s unique abilities and encourages creative expression through music. I incorporate exercises tailored to individual strengths and learning styles, fostering both independence and musical growth. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing students to explore genres and techniques that inspire them. I am committed to breaking down barriers in music education, making the guitar accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for all. My teaching approach for guitar is fun, playful, and designed to keep beginners excited to learn. Listening exercises and sound pattern recognition help students develop an ear for music while enjoying the process. I structure lessons in small, achievable steps, so progress feels rewarding and motivating. My approach balances play with skill-building, helping learners feel both challenged and supported.
